Rejoicing in Hope

The title of this blog, Rejoicing in Hope, is taken from St. Paul's Letter to the Romans (Chapter 12). St. Paul is reminding us of how we should be living out our faith each day: joyfully because of the hope that is ours in Christ Jesus our Lord. I expect, as time allows, to post reflections on many aspects of the Roman Catholic faith as lived today in continuity with the faith of the Church through the centuries. Nothing radical or dissenting here, just one Catholic priest trying to fulfill Pope Benedict XVI's call to make use of the electronic media to spread the Gospel message and to teach the faith. One may legitimately ask if there will really be anything new to be found here that is not to be found on other blogs. To be honest, I don't know -- maybe much will be repeated, but I do believe that, because we all have different gifts to use in service of the Faith, something may be found here that will be helpful.
